Tushar Trans Equipment Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Purchase Executive/Officer to manage procurement activities and ensure timely availability of materials required for manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day purchase and procurement activities.
- Identify and communicate with suppliers/vendors for required materials.
- Collect and compare quotations from different suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules and other commercial terms.
- Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with vendors for timely delivery.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Accounts and other departments for material requirements.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor details, quotations and PO documentation.
- Monitor pending orders and ensure timely material delivery.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Assist in vendor evaluation and selection based on quality, price and delivery.
- Coordinate regarding material quality issues, shortages, rejection and replacement with suppliers.
- Ensure procurement is carried out as per company requirements and approved specifications.
- Maintain proper documentation and support purchase-related MIS/reporting.
Requirements
- Qualification: B.Com / M.Com preferred.
- Experience: 0–3 years in Purchase/Procurement; freshers with good communication and negotiation skills may also apply.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Basic understanding of purchase processes, quotations, POs and vendor management.
- Candidate should be organized, responsible and willing to work in a manufacturing environment.
