About ChennaiNest

ChennaiNest is a Chennai-focused rental property discovery platform using Instagram, WhatsApp and technology to help tenants discover rental homes and connect with properties quickly.

We are looking for a Videographer / Content Creator who can travel across Chennai, capture high-quality property content and help us build a strong property-content engine.

What you'll do

- Visit residential properties across Chennai and shoot high-quality vertical videos.
- Capture property walkthroughs, photos and location/landmark footage.
- Shoot content suitable for Instagram Reels, Stories and other social platforms.
- Follow a consistent property-shooting format and ensure all important areas are captured.
- Coordinate with property owners and arrange shooting visits.
- Confirm basic property details and availability during/after the visit.
- Upload raw footage quickly so the editing team can start working immediately.
- Maintain proper organization of property photos and videos.
- Identify interesting visual/content opportunities while visiting properties.
- Assist with creating area-based, rental-tip and other social-media content when required.
- Travel efficiently across Chennai based on the daily shooting schedule.

Ideal candidate

- 1+ year experience in videography, content creation, photography or social-media content.
- Strong smartphone videography skills; camera experience is an advantage.
- Good understanding of vertical video/Reels.
- Comfortable using wide-angle/0.5x shots appropriately.




- Positive sense of framing, lighting, movement and composition.
- Able to shoot clean, stable and professional property walkthroughs.
- Comfortable travelling around Chennai.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Responsible with company equipment and property footage.
- Experience creating real-estate, lifestyle, food, travel or social-media content is a plus.

Equipment

ChennaiNest can provide/arrange the required shooting equipment. Candidates with their own professional camera/smartphone equipment are welcome, but owning equipment is not mandatory.

What we value

Portfolio quality matters more than certificates.

We are looking for someone who can capture clean, attractive and useful property content quickly, rather than someone who only produces highly cinematic videos.

- Fast transfer of footage after each property visit.
- High-quality and complete property coverage.
- Minimal missed shots or unusable footage.
- Professional coordination with owners.
- Ability to handle multiple property visits in a day.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
