Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic PRT – Computer to introduce young learners to computer basics and digital literacy in an engaging, age-appropriate way, and to build a strong ICT foundation at the primary level.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver computer lessons as per the school curriculum and board guidelines (CBSE/ICSE/State Board)
- Teach fundamentals: parts of a computer, keyboard/mouse skills, MS Office basics (Word, PowerPoint, Paint), typing practice, internet safety, and introductory logical/coding concepts (e.g., Scratch)
- Conduct hands-on practical sessions in the computer lab
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and age-appropriate teaching aids
- Assess students through class tests, assignments, and practicals; maintain records
- Maintain computer lab equipment and promptly report technical issues
- Ensure student discipline and safety during lab sessions
- Coordinate with other subject teachers on ICT-integrated or interdisciplinary projects
- Participate in staff meetings,



school events, and parent-teacher meetings

Qualifications Required

- Graduation in any stream with a Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or IT (e.g., BCA, B.Sc. Computer Science, PGDCA)
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed (as per school/board requirement)
- CTET/State-TET (Paper 1) qualified — often required by CBSE-affiliated schools

Skills Required

- Strong command of computer fundamentals and MS Office
- Patience, warmth, and classroom management skills suited to young children
- Creative, activity-based teaching approach
- Basic familiarity with kid-friendly coding tools (e.g., Scratch)
- Valuable communication skills in English/Hindi (or the local language as needed)

Experience

Freshers welcome; 1–3 years of teaching experience preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
