Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Motor Insurance Executive to handle end-to-end motor insurance activities, including new policy issuance, policy renewals, quotations, documentation, customer coordination, and insurance-related support.

The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with customers, insurance companies, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely processing of motor insurance policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle new motor insurance policy inquiries and generate quotations as per customer requirements.
- Process car and two-wheeler insurance policies, including comprehensive, third-party, and other applicable motor insurance products.
- Handle policy renewals and proactively contact existing customers before policy expiry.
- Collect and verify required customer and vehicle documents for policy issuance and renewal.
- Coordinate with insurance companies, brokers, and insurer portals for policy processing.
- Compare insurance plans, premiums, coverage, IDV, deductibles, add-ons, and other policy terms.
- Explain policy features, coverage, exclusions, add-ons, premium details, and terms & conditions to customers.
- Assist customers in selecting suitable insurance coverage based on their requirements.
- Generate and share quotations with customers through phone, WhatsApp, email, or other communication channels.
- Follow up with customers for quotation confirmation, documentation, payment, and policy issuance.




- Ensure accurate entry of customer, vehicle, nominee, and policy details in the insurance portal/system.
- Coordinate for vehicle inspection/survey wherever required by the insurance company.
- Handle endorsement requests such as correction of customer details, vehicle details, nominee details, address changes, etc.
- Assist customers with policy-related queries and coordinate with the concerned insurance company for resolution.
- Maintain proper records of policies, renewals, quotations, payments, and customer communications.
- Monitor upcoming policy expiries and maintain a systematic renewal follow-up database.
- Achieve assigned sales, renewal, and business targets.
- Build and maintain valuable relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Follow up on leads received through calls, online inquiries, referrals, and other sources.
- Coordinate with the claims team/insurance company when customers require assistance regarding motor insurance claims.
- Ensure all insurance transactions and documentation are completed accurately and within the required timeline.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of customer and vehicle-related information.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of Motor Insurance products and processes.




- Basic understanding of comprehensive and third-party motor insurance.
- Knowledge of policy renewal, issuance, endorsements, inspections, and documentation.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to work on insurance portals.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, email, and WhatsApp.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Ability to work with multiple insurance companies and handle multiple customer requests.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Sales-oriented approach with the ability to achieve targets.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidates with prior experience in motor insurance, general insurance, insurance broking, automobile dealerships, or insurance operations will be preferred.
- Freshers with good communication skills and willingness to learn insurance processes may also be considered.
- Candidates should be comfortable communicating with customers over phone, WhatsApp, and email.
