Job Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving, checking and arranging spare parts.
- Maintain proper storage and organization of spare parts.
- Issue spare parts to technicians based on approved job cards.
- Prepare and maintain parts issue records.
- Check part numbers, quantities and descriptions before issuing parts.
- Assist in preparing purchase requirements for rapid-moving and required parts.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the Parts Manager about low-stock items.
- Support daily and periodic physical stock verification.
- Update stock records in DMS / Excel / inventory software.
- Coordinate with technicians, Service Advisors and the Parts Manager.
- Assist in receiving parts from suppliers and verify invoices and quantities.
- Maintain proper records of received, issued, returned and damaged parts.
- Keep the spare parts area clean,
organized and properly labeled.
- Assist in identifying slow-moving, fast-moving and non-moving parts.
- Follow company procedures for stock control and parts handling.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of two-wheeler spare parts.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer operations.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to identify and verify part numbers.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Responsible and disciplined approach to stock handling.
Qualification
- 12th Pass / Diploma / Any Degree
- Automobile / Mechanical qualification is an added advantage.
- Freshers with basic computer knowledge can apply.
- Previous experience in an automobile spare parts department is preferred.
