- Understanding requirements: Studying design briefs and determining project requirements
- Creating designs: Using digital design tools to create visual concepts and designs for marketing materials, websites, logos, and more
- Collaborating: Working with clients, art directors, and other team members to brainstorm ideas, discuss project requirements, and present design concepts
- Communicating: Advising clients on strategies to engage audiences and communicating with clients throughout the project
- Following brand guidelines: Ensuring that visuals are appealing, match business needs, and follow brand guidelines
- Making revisions: Producing drafts for client review and making revisions based on feedback
