Server
Administrator – Level 1 (Hyderabad)

Experience: 3 to 5 Years

MAJOR RESPOSIBILITIES

- Provide first-line support for server operations, health monitoring, and routine maintenance.

- Monitor server performance (Windows/Linux OS), including CPU, memory, disk usage, and system availability.

- Create, modify, and delete user accounts and manage access permissions.

- Apply routine OS patches, security updates, and antivirus updates.

- Troubleshoot basic operating system and server-related issues.

- Assist with hardware replacements and upgrades, including HDDs, RAM, and other server components.

- Escalate, track, and document incidents through the ticketing system

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

·Basic
knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.

·Understanding
of server monitoring,



performance management, and troubleshooting.

·Experience
with user account administration and access control.

·Familiarity
with patch management and antivirus administration.

·Basic
knowledge of server hardware components and maintenance procedures.

·Familiarity
with ticketing systems and incident management processes.

·Valuable
communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

QUALIFICATION

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.

CERTIFICATIONS (PREFERRED)

- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator Associate

- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)

- CompTIA Server+

- CompTIA Security+
