We are looking for a passionate and qualified Special Educator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for professionals who are committed to advancing inclusive education through educator training, academic guidance, and quality improvement initiatives.
Unlike traditional school-based teaching roles, this position focuses on empowering Special Educators by developing their skills, strengthening instructional practices, and supporting the implementation of high-quality Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). The role offers an opportunity to work alongside psychologists and multidisciplinary professionals to enhance educational outcomes for Children with Special Needs (CWSN) across India.
Role Overview
The selected candidate will be based in Delhi and collaborate closely with the organization's psychology and program teams. The role does not involve direct one-on-one intervention with Children with Special Needs (CWSN). Instead, the primary responsibility is to strengthen program implementation by supporting Special Educators through training, academic mentoring, content development, and quality assurance.
The candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging online and offline training sessions, reviewing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), developing educational resources, and providing continuous academic support to ensure effective implementation of inclusive education practices.
The role will also require regular travel within Delhi and nearby project locations for educator meetings, training sessions, academic reviews, school/project visits, and other program-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging online and offline training sessions for Special Educators across various project locations.
- Provide academic guidance and mentoring to Special Educators on assessment practices, intervention planning, and IEP implementation.
- Review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and provide constructive feedback to improve quality and learning outcomes.
- Develop training modules,
instructional manuals, presentations, resource materials, and academic content.
- Collaborate with psychologists and program teams to develop standardized intervention strategies and training resources.
- Support the continuous enhancement of educator training programs, learning methodologies, and academic processes.
- Assist in developing educational tools, templates, and documentation to strengthen program quality.
- Maintain training records, reports, documentation, and implementation updates.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure effective planning, execution, and follow-up of training initiatives.
- Conduct regular field visits within Delhi and nearby locations for training, academic mentoring, educator support, and program monitoring.
- Stay updated with current practices, research, and developments in inclusive and special education.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Passionate about inclusive education and improving learning outcomes for Children with Special Needs.
- Strong conceptual and practical understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), assessments, and intervention strategies.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, mentoring, and communication skills.
- Strong content development and instructional design abilities.
- Comfortable conducting online and offline training sessions and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Highly organized with excellent documentation and report-writing skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Willing to undertake regular travel within Delhi and nearby project locations.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education.
- Valid Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) Registration is mandatory.
- Minimum 1–2 years of professional experience in special education, educator training, academic support, curriculum development, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), educational assessments, and evidence-based intervention strategies.
- Experience conducting online or offline training sessions, workshops, or teacher development programs is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi and regional languages will be an added advantage).
- Proficient in using laptops, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, video conferencing platforms, and other digital tools.
- Strong documentation, content writing, and resource development skills.
- Ability to manage timelines, priorities, field activities, and multiple project requirements.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Delhi and nearby locations as required.
- Must have a laptop and smartphone and be comfortable using digital tools for work.
- Mandatory Screen Sharing: The candidate must be comfortable keeping their work screen continuously shared throughout official working hours. This is a mandatory requirement of the role.
Job Type: Full time
Pay: ₹12,500.00 - ₹17,500.00 per month
