Job Summary
Glusvox is looking for a motivated and results-driven Job Placement Specialist to join our growing recruitment team.
As a Job Placement Specialist, you will work directly with job seekers to understand their skills, experience, career goals, and job preferences. You will identify relevant job opportunities, assist with job applications, coordinate recruitment activities, and maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the placement process.
The ideal candidate is confident, organized, professional, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment where performance and successful placements are recognized and rewarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect with candidates to understand their education, skills, experience, career goals, and job preferences.
- Review candidate resumes and professional profiles to understand their qualifications.
- Identify suitable job opportunities based on candidate experience and career objectives.
- Search and source relevant job openings across the USA and Canada.
- Assist candidates with targeted job applications and submissions.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the job search process.
- Follow up with candidates regarding applications, interviews, recruiter communication, and hiring updates.
- Coordinate interview schedules and other recruitment-related activities.
- Assist candidates with interview preparation and provide general job-search guidance.
- Maintain accurate candidate information, application records, and placement updates.
- Track candidate activity and provide regular progress updates.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with candidates.
- Coordinate with internal recruiters and recruitment teams when required.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly activity and placement targets.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and candidate service.
- Contribute to team recruitment and placement goals.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, job placement, talent acquisition, career services, customer service, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to understand candidate profiles and match candidates with relevant opportunities.
- Strong follow-up, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple candidates and applications simultaneously.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, and recruitment platforms.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in US or Canadian recruitment.
- Experience in IT, Non-IT, Healthcare, or professional staffing.
- Understanding of US and Canadian recruitment and hiring processes.
- Experience working with candidates across different experience levels is a plus.
