Role Description

This part-time Freelance Senior Network Engineer / IT Consultant role is project-based and on-demand, which is mostly remote with some site-survey requirements based in Delhi-NCR region. You will design and implement network architectures, including routing, switching, and high-density Wi-Fi solutions for multi-floor office environments. Day-to-day activities include assessing client requirements, performing site surveys, configuring and deploying network hardware and security appliances, and optimizing performance and reliability. You will also troubleshoot complex network issues, advise on cyber security and perimeter hardening, support GDPR-compliant segmentation, and contribute to remote monitoring and management setups. Collaboration with national and international clients, internal teams, and external partners, as well as clear documentation and handover, are key parts of this role.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design, including experience with enterprise routing, switching, and Wi-Fi architectures.
- Candidates should possess solid Network Administration skills, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of multi-vendor environments (e.g., Cisco, Ubiquiti, Aruba, Fortinet).
- Candidates should possess advanced Network Security skills, covering firewalls, secure VPNs, segmentation, and security compliance-focused designs.
- Candidates should possess excellent Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex performance, connectivity, and security issues in live production networks.




- Relevant qualifications include Cisco CCNP or CCNA (or equivalent vendor certifications), proven experience in B2B or enterprise network projects, and familiarity with RMM tools and SLAs.
- Additional beneficial skills include strong consulting abilities, clear technical documentation, stakeholder communication in English, and the capacity to work independently on project-based engagements.
