Job Title: Tekla Modeler – Structural Steel (Hot Rolled & Hollow Sections)

Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced Tekla Modeler for our Irumpanam design office to model and detail structural steel projects, with a strong focus on hot rolled sections and hollow sections. You will work on 3D modeling, detailing, and custom component development in Tekla Structures.

Responsibilities:

- Create accurate 3D models of structural steel using Tekla Structures, including hot rolled sections and hollow sections such as SHS, RHS, CHS, pipes, and tubes
- Detail steel connections and prepare fabrication-ready models
- Build and manage custom components and custom connections within Tekla to standardize modeling workflows
- Generate GA drawings, shop drawings, erection drawings, and material lists (BOMs) from Tekla models
- Coordinate with structural engineers and checkers to resolve modeling and detailing queries




- Ensure models comply with project specifications and detailing standards

Requirements:

- Diploma or degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 2 -3 years of experience in Tekla Structures modeling and detailing for structural steel
- Strong experience working with hot rolled sections, as well as hollow sections including SHS (Square Hollow Section), RHS (Rectangular Hollow Section), CHS (Circular Hollow Section), pipes, and tubes
- Proven ability to build custom components and custom connections in Tekla Structures
- Solid understanding of steel connections, fabrication, and erection sequencing
- Experience with structural steel and/or tensile fabric shade structure projects is a strong advantage

Salary: ₹30,000/month
