Tendering Engineer

Job Summary

The Tendering & Billing Engineer is responsible for preparing competitive and technically compliant bids, coordinating with internal departments during the tendering process, managing post-award commercial documentation, and ensuring accurate measurement, billing, and payment follow-up throughout the project lifecycle. The role serves as the bridge between estimation, procurement, engineering, execution, accounts, and clients to maximize project profitability and maintain contractual compliance.

Tendering Engineer:

· Prepare tender synopsis highlighting.

· Activities and Quantities identified.

· Perform Rate Analysis for given project.

· Identify and understand Scope of work and billing methodology for proposed project.

· Prepare commercial offer.

· Prepare technical offer.

· Prepare compliance statements.





· Compile complete tender submission.

· COP and COS tracking

· Coordinate with all internal departments for bid preparation and billing.

· Take quotations from approved vendors and subcontractors.

· Maintain commercial records.

· Recommend commercial improvements and highlight contractual risks to management.

Experience

· B.E. Civil engineering experience: 3-4 years minimum

· Diploma in Civil Engineering: 5-6 years minimum

Preferred Industry Exposure

Candidates with experience in one or more of the following sectors are preferred:

- EPC Projects, Industrial Construction
- Buildings, Facade & Glazing Systems
- Roads, Highways & Bridges
