Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor & Graphic Designer to join our team in Madurai.

The primary focus of this role is to professionally edit videos and create high-quality social media posts, promotional creatives, website images, banners, thumbnails and other visual materials for HILO SOFTWARES products and our clients.

Content ideation, basic script development and caption creation will be secondary responsibilities. Freshers with a solid portfolio and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

Professional Video Editing Responsibilities

- Professionally edit videos for HILO SOFTWARES products and client projects.
- Edit raw footage captured from client offices, business locations, events and real-estate properties.
- Create engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, product demonstrations and advertisements.
- Edit real-estate property walkthroughs, house videos, land-promotion videos and rental-property videos.
- Create both short-form and long-form video content.
- Add professional transitions, text animations, titles, motion graphics, music and sound effects.
- Add accurate Tamil and English subtitles wherever required.
- Perform colour correction, colour grading, audio cleaning, audio enhancement and voice-over synchronisation.
- Combine presenter footage, B-roll, product visuals, screen recordings and branding elements.
- Create platform-specific versions for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and websites.
- Export videos in the correct resolution, aspect ratio, format and quality for each platform.
- Maintain consistent branding across all HILO SOFTWARES and client videos.
- Organise and maintain raw footage, final videos, project files and other digital assets.
- Complete multiple editing projects within the assigned deadlines.

Graphic Design Responsibilities

- Create professional social media posts, advertisements and promotional creatives.
- Design Instagram and Facebook posts, stories, carousel posts and campaign graphics.
- Create website banners, service images,



product images and other website visual assets.
- Design YouTube thumbnails, Reel covers and video-title graphics.
- Create product promotional designs and client advertisement materials.
- Design posters, flyers, brochures and other digital marketing creatives when required.
- Use approved logos, brand colours, fonts and visual guidelines.
- Resize and adapt designs for different social media and digital platforms.
- Coordinate with the Digital Marketing Executive to create campaign-specific designs.
- Maintain quality and consistency across all visual content.

Secondary Content Creation Responsibilities

- Contribute creative ideas for HILO SOFTWARES products and client campaigns.
- Suggest concepts, hooks and visual styles for Reels, Shorts and promotional videos.
- Assist in preparing basic Tamil and English video scripts.
- Help create captions, headlines and calls to action for social media posts.
- Research current video, design and social media trends.
- Convert product features and client requirements into engaging visual content.
- Coordinate with the Digital Marketing Executive & Video Presenter regarding scripts, raw footage, campaign requirements and final delivery.

Required Skills

- Strong practical knowledge of professional video editing.
- Proficiency in at least one professional editing tool such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or Canva for graphic designing.
- Understanding of colour correction, colour grading and audio enhancement.
- Knowledge of transitions, subtitles, text animation and basic motion graphics.
- Strong creativity, visual storytelling ability and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of typography, colour combinations, layouts and branding.
- Knowledge of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social media formats.




- Ability to handle multiple video and design projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
- Basic Tamil and English communication skills.
- A video-editing and graphic-design portfolio is required.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects or similar motion-graphics software.
- Experience editing product demonstrations, advertisements and real-estate videos.
- Experience creating website graphics and social media campaign designs.
- Basic knowledge of content writing, script writing and digital marketing.
- Knowledge of CapCut or similar quick-editing applications will be an added advantage.
- Experience using AI-assisted design or video-editing tools will be an advantage.

Qualifications

- Any Degree or Diploma.
- Media, Animation, Visual Communication, Graphic Design or related qualifications will be preferred.
- Freshers with strong practical skills and a good portfolio may apply.
- Experienced candidates are also welcome to apply.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be passionate about professional video editing and graphic designing. The candidate must be able to convert raw footage and basic ideas into polished, engaging and platform-ready visual content.

This position primarily focuses on video post-production and graphic design. Regular field shooting, digital marketing campaign management and on-camera presentation are not the primary responsibilities of this role.
