Job Summary

The Dialysis Faculty is responsible for delivering theoretical and practical education in Dialysis Technology, preparing students for clinical practice, and ensuring that students develop the technical knowledge, clinical skills, and professional competencies required to work effectively in dialysis units and healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct theory and practical classes related to Dialysis Technology and Hemodialysis.
- Teach subjects such as:
- Human Anatomy & Physiology
- Renal Anatomy and Physiology
- Pathophysiology of Renal Diseases
- Principles of Hemodialysis
- Dialysis Machines and Equipment
- Dialysis Procedures and Techniques
- Vascular Access Management
- Water Treatment and Dialysis Fluid Preparation
- Infection Prevention and Control
- Dialysis Emergencies and Complications
- Patient Care and Monitoring
- Biomedical Waste Management
- Basic Pharmacology related to Dialysis
- Demonstrate and supervise practical procedures in the laboratory/clinical setting.
- Train students in dialysis machine operation, patient monitoring, and safety procedures.
- Guide students during clinical postings, internships, and hospital training.
- Maintain student attendance, practical records,



assessment records, and academic documentation.
- Conduct internal assessments, practical examinations, assignments, seminars, and skill evaluations.
- Monitor student performance and provide academic and clinical guidance.
- Coordinate with hospitals and dialysis centres regarding student clinical training.
- Ensure students follow professional ethics, patient safety standards, and infection-control practices.
- Stay updated with current developments, technologies, and best practices in dialysis care.
- Participate in academic meetings, curriculum planning, workshops, seminars, and institutional activities.

Required Qualifications

- B.Sc. Dialysis Technology / B.Sc. Renal Dialysis Technology or equivalent qualification.
- M.Sc. Dialysis Technology / Renal Dialysis Technology is preferred.
- Relevant clinical experience in a dialysis unit or hospital is preferred.
- Teaching/training experience in Dialysis Technology is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
