Position Summary

Lead end-to-end branch operations for BimaSaathi Direct's Bihar branch — responsible for business generation, team management, customer service quality, compliance, and P&L; of the branch across health, life, and general insurance lines.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Sales

- Achieve monthly and annual premium (GWP) targets for the branch across health, life, and general insurance
- Build and expand the local distribution network — advisors, POSPs, referral partners
- Drive lead conversion and cross-sell/up-sell across product lines
- Monitor branch pipeline, quotation conversion, and policy issuance TAT

Team Management

- Recruit, onboard, train, and retain Sales Managers and advisors at the branch
- Set individual KRAs/KPIs, review performance monthly, and manage underperformers
- Conduct daily huddles, weekly reviews, and monthly business planning
- Drive employee engagement and retention

Operations & Compliance

- Ensure branch operates as per IRDAI regulations and BimaSaathi SOPs
- Maintain KYC discipline, need-analysis documentation,



and policy servicing standards
- Handle customer escalations and grievance redressal within TAT
- Own branch administration — attendance, records, vendor coordination, asset management

Reporting & MIS

- Submit daily/weekly/monthly business MIS to Zonal Head
- Track and report advisor productivity, channel performance, and market intelligence

Candidate Profile

Experience: 8–12 years in insurance sales, with minimum 3–5 years in a branch/team-lead role. Bihar market experience mandatory.
Qualification: Graduate (any stream); MBA preferred.
Skills: Team leadership, local market knowledge (Bihar), P&L; ownership, IRDAI compliance awareness, MS Office / CRM tools, fluency in Hindi + English (Bhojpuri/Maithili a plus).
Age: 32–45 years (indicative)
CTC: [TBD] + performance-linked incentive
