Role Overview

The Laser Machine Operator is responsible for operating CNC laser cutting machines to produce high‑precision components as per engineering drawings and production schedules. The role requires solid technical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.Operate the CNC laser cutting machine as per approved programs and drawings.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Verify material grade, thickness and sheet size before cutting.
- Check the CNC program/nesting before starting production.
- Set and verify machine parameters such as power, speed, gas pressure and focus as applicable.
- Ensure correct part identification and quantity as per production plan.
- Inspect first-off components for dimensions, hole size, profile and cut quality.
- Monitor cutting quality during production and take corrective action when required.
- Minimize material wastage through proper nesting and sheet utilization.
- Segregate and identify cut components properly for the next process.
- Handle sheets and cut components safely to prevent damage or deformation.




- Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine operator-level maintenance.
- Report machine breakdowns, nozzle/lens issues and abnormal cutting conditions immediately.
- Follow daily production targets and update production status.
- Maintain 5S, PPE and safety requirements in the laser cutting area.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Hands‑on experience with CNC laser cutting machines
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand tolerances.
- Knowledge of sheet metal materials (MS, SS, Aluminium)..
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Education & Experience

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in laser cutting operations (freshers with training can also be considered).

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
