QeCAD is looking for a motivated Trainee BIM Architect with hands-on knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD to join our Ahmedabad team.
The ideal candidate should have a positive understanding of architectural drawings, 3D modeling, BIM documentation, and construction/approval drawing sets. Candidates with experience in architectural outsourcing projects for Australia, New Zealand, or the USA will be preferred.
Don't have strong Revit experience? We also provide in-office Revit training to help you develop your BIM skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project briefs, drawings, sketches, and project guidelines.
- Create architectural BIM models and documentation using Revit.
- Prepare approval and construction document sets.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively with project teams.
- Coordinate drawings and models across multiple disciplines.
- Perform self-quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain project timesheets/PMS and provide regular progress updates.
- Prepare project-related queries and coordinate with clients when required.
- Support project delivery while maintaining quality and timelines.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
- Understanding of BIM modeling, layouts, annotations, dimensioning, sheet setup, and detailing.
- Ability to read and interpret 2D architectural drawings and 3D BIM models.
- Basic understanding of BIM standards and workflows.
- Knowledge of LOD 100–450 is preferred.
- Knowledge of Civil 3D will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- B.Arch or a related architectural qualification.
- 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Candidates with exposure to residential projects and architectural outsourcing will be preferred.
- Fresh candidates with strong architectural drawing skills and a willingness to learn Revit may also be considered.
