We are seeking a highly trustworthy, disciplined and detail-oriented Purchase & Inventory Executive to manage critical gold acquisition, valuation, melting and inventory control functions.

Key Responsibilities

- Gold Purchase & Transaction Handling: Oversee the secure procurement and intake of old/scrap gold from customers and partner concerns.
- Melting & Testing Coordination: Manage end-to-end gold melting transitions, purity testing (karat checking) and assay weight verification with authorized partner facilities.
- Inventory Control & Audit: Track physical gold stock daily, reconcile stock registers with actual weight and account for melting losses/refining yields accurately.
- Partner Relationship Management: Coordinate smooth operations, dispatch and settlement reconciliations with partner melting units and vendors.
- Secured Logistics & Safety:



Ensure strict adherence to security protocols while transporting and handling precious metal inventory.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Trust & Integrity: Immaculate personal track record and verifiable local reference checks (Mandatory).
- Experience: 1–3 years experience in jewellery retail, gold testing/melting management or precious metal handling.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of gold purity testing, karat measurements and melting weight calculation formulas.
- Education & Skills: High school diploma or graduate; basic proficiency in computer entry/Excel for inventory logs.
- Languages: High fluency in Tamil is required.
- Location: Must be a local resident of Kumbakonam or surrounding areas with solid local ties.
