Job Purpose

The Quality Executive will be responsible for ensuring that incoming materials, manufacturing processes, assembled products and finished solar inverters/UPS systems meet defined quality standards, technical specifications and customer requirements.

The role will involve Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), Final Quality Control (FQC), testing, inspection, QMS documentation, non-conformance management and continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities1. Incoming Quality Inspection – IQC

- Inspect incoming raw materials, electronic components, PCBs, transformers, cables, connectors, enclosures, mechanical parts and other components.
- Verify materials against approved specifications, drawings, purchase requirements and quality standards.
- Supplier audits and Check supplier documents such as COA/COC, test certificates and inspection reports wherever applicable.
- Identify, segregate and report defective or non-conforming materials.
- Maintain incoming inspection records and supplier quality data.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores and suppliers for quality-related issues.
- Develop the incoming inspection procedure, checklist and MSA documentation
- Develop the incoming inspection plan and develop the drawings and specifications for the customized parts
- Knowledge of PCB, Electronics components and Plastics and Sheet metal, Wire harness components incoming inspection
- Manage the vendor rejection , replacement of IQC rejected materials

2. In-Process Quality Control – IPQC

- Conduct quality inspections at different stages of inverter/UPS manufacturing and assembly.
- Develop and Verify the SOPs, work instructions, drawings and process parameters.
- Inspect PCB assembly, wiring, soldering, component mounting, mechanical assembly, cable routing, labelling and other critical processes.
- Conduct line inspections and process audits to identify defects at an early stage.
- Ensure proper identification and traceability of materials, components and finished units.
- Stop or escalate production in case of critical quality deviations.
- Process and Quality training of IPC standard and ISO 9001, IS0 140001 to the operators and executives
- Familiar with Soldering process, PTH components forming, stuffing, Wave soldering process
- Define the manual soldering temperature parameter and quality the process
- Knowledge of DMPO, PPM and SPC standards and record creation

3. Final Quality Inspection & Testing

- Conduct final inspection of completed solar inverter and UPS products before dispatch.
- Verify product appearance, assembly quality, wiring, labelling, accessories and packaging.
- Coordinate and perform functional and electrical tests as per approved testing procedures.
- Verify test results and ensure that products meet defined acceptance criteria.
- Maintain Final Inspection Reports, Test Reports and other quality records.
- Release finished products for dispatch only after required quality checks are completed.
- Knowledge of DIN , MIL and GD&T;
- Knowledge of Burning , Ageing Process

4. Non-Conformance & Corrective Action





- Identify and document quality deviations and non-conformities.
- Raise and maintain NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) wherever required.
- Support root cause analysis using appropriate quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis and Pareto Analysis.
- Knowledge about FMEA, Control Plan document preparation and its audits
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering and Purchase teams for corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct re-inspection of reworked/repaired products before approval.
- Track corrective actions until effective closure.

5. Process & Product Improvement

- Identify recurring defects, rejection trends, rework and quality losses.
- Prepare quality reports and communicate key issues to the Quality Manager / Factory Head.
- Support initiatives to reduce rejection, rework, warranty issues and Cost of Poor Quality.
- Participate in Kaizen, 5S, process improvement and defect-prevention initiatives.
- Work with Production and Engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes and product reliability.

6. Supplier Quality

- Monitor the quality performance of suppliers.
- Record supplier-related defects and communicate quality concerns to Purchase/Supply Chain.
- Support supplier corrective action and follow-up.
- Assist in supplier inspections/audits when required.
- Maintain supplier quality records and rejection data.
- Work with Supplier for the replacement of rejected parts and coordinate with Purchase team for the debit not release if required
- Work with Purchase team for alternate components, parts and supplier evaluation and Qualification

7. Quality Documentation & Compliance

- Prepare the QMS documents (ESD ANSI 20:20, ISO 9001, IS0 14001, ISO 45001), Procedures, WI/SOPS and Checklist for all manufacturing function and release the documents in QMS
- Coordinate with external agency for the ESD ANSI 20:20, ISO 9001, IS0 14001, ISO 45001 audits
- Maintain inspection formats, checklists, test reports, NCRs, CAPA records and quality registers.
- Ensure proper document control and traceability of inspection and testing records.
- Support implementation and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System.
- Assist in internal, customer and external quality audits.
- Ensure compliance with applicable company standards, customer specifications and relevant quality requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and document the audit records and coordinate with CFT for the CAPA closure

8. Calibration & Measuring Instruments

- Maintain records of measuring and testing equipment.
- Ensure instruments are properly calibrated and available for inspection/testing activities.
- Report expired, damaged or inaccurate instruments to the concerned authority.
- Coordinate with external agency for the calibration of equipments
- Support periodic calibration activities and maintain calibration records.




- Maintain the master list of assets and every new equipment,machines before the production usage, complete the validation and qualification process and ensure to approve the assembly , testing and inspection lines.
- Ensure to monitor the preventive maintenance and preventive maintenance

9. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work closely with Production, Engineering/R&D;, Purchase, Stores, Service and Sales teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support new product introduction and production trials from a quality perspective.
- Provide feedback to Engineering/R&D; regarding recurring product or process issues.
- Coordinate with Service/Customer Support teams on field quality complaints and warranty-related issues.

Educational Qualification

Preferred:

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, or related engineering discipline.
- Additional certification in Quality Management will be an advantage.

Experience

- 1–2 years of experience in QMS & Quality Control / Quality Assurance in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in solar inverter, UPS, power electronics, electrical/electronic manufacturing or similar industries will be preferred.

Required Technical Skills

- Knowledge of manufacturing quality processes: QMS.IQC, IPQC and FQC.
- Understanding of electrical/electronic components and assemblies.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of inspection and testing procedures.
- Basic understanding of RCA, CAPA, 5 Why, Fishbone and Pareto analysis.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ANSI ESD 20:20 quality systems is preferred.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- MS Excel / ERP / Quality Management System knowledge will be an advantage.

Role Expectation

The Quality Executive is expected to act as a quality gatekeeper on the manufacturing floor, ensuring that defects are identified and controlled at the earliest stage rather than reaching the next process or customer.

The position will play an significant role in supporting our objective of achieving consistent product quality, reduced rejection and rework, improved manufacturing efficiency and reliable solar inverter/UPS products.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
