Job Summary

Ajanta Footcare (India) Pvt. Ltd. is hiring Counter Salesmen for our retail store in Behala, Kolkata.

We are looking for motivated and customer-focused candidates who can assist customers, recommend suitable products, support store operations, and contribute towards achieving sales targets.

Freshers with good communication skills are welcome. Training will be provided.

Eligibility & Experience

- Minimum qualification: Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or above
- 0–1 year of experience in Retail Sales
- Experience in Footwear, Apparel, FMCG, Pharmacy, or other Retail Industries will be an added advantage
- Freshers can apply

Salary & Benefits

- ₹9,500 Net Take-Home Salary per month

Working Days & Duty Hours

- Duty Hours: 10:00 AM to 9:30 PM
- 26 working days per month
- 4 weekly offs per month

Key Responsibilities

- Assist customers and provide excellent customer service
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products
- Achieve sales targets and promote ongoing offers
- Handle billing and cash transactions accurately
- Maintain product displays and store cleanliness
- Assist in inventory and stock management
- Support day-to-day retail store operations




- Maintain good product knowledge and assist customers with product selection

Required Skills

- Good communication and customer-handling skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge of POS/Billing Software is an added advantage
- Sales-oriented and target-driven attitude
- Customer-focused approach
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a retail team
