Key Responsibilities
- Obstetric Care: Manage normal and high-risk pregnancies, conduct deliveries (including C-sections), and handle postnatal complications.
- Gynecological Procedures: Perform minor and major surgeries like hysterectomies, ovarian cyst removals, and diagnostic tests such as D&C; and biopsies.
- Routine Screenings: Conduct preventive check-ups, Pap smears, and consultations for contraception or menopause.
- Specialized Treatments: Assess and guide patients through fertility treatments, hormonal disorders, or reproductive cancers. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree: Completed MBBS with a recognized MS/MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Licensure: Valid state medical council registration or license to practice.
