JOB DESCRIPTION – JUNIOR HOUSEKEEPING ASSOCIATE

Position: Junior Housekeeping Associate
Department: Housekeeping
Location: Pushpam Group Resort
Experience: Fresher / 0–2 Years
Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary

The Junior Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure a comfortable and pleasant experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas as per resort standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish guest amenities and supplies.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, and lost-and-found items to the supervisor.
- Properly use and store cleaning chemicals, equipment, and housekeeping materials.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest housekeeping requests.
- Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping carts, storage areas, and workstations.
- Follow resort policies related to safety, hygiene, grooming, and guest service.




- Assist in deep-cleaning activities and special housekeeping projects as assigned.

Requirements

- Fresher or up to 2 years of experience in housekeeping, hospitality, hotel, or resort operations.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and housekeeping procedures is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physically fit and capable of performing housekeeping duties.

Educational Qualification

- Minimum 10th Pass.
- Higher Secondary (12th Pass) preferred.

Working Conditions

- Rotational shifts.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving housekeeping supplies during duty hours.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
