An exciting prospect for a Cybersecurity Consultant with 4-8 years of hands-on experience in security control implementation, infrastructure security, and security operations. The ideal professional will implement remediation workstreams, configure identity and access controls, support SIEM monitoring, and enhance enterprise security posture.

Responsibilities

- Implement cybersecurity remediation activities across defined sprint plans and maintain technical runbooks, control evidence, and governance documentation.
- Configure and manage identity, access, and privileged access controls, including MFA, SSO, RBAC, least privilege, PIM, LAPS, and service accounts.
- Execute vulnerability management workflows, remediation tracking, and patch management coordination across enterprise systems.
- Configure centralized logging and SIEM integrations into platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel to ensure effective SOC monitoring, alert triage, and incident response.
- Implement backup validation, disaster recovery evidence, network security enhancements (segmentation, firewalls, IDS/IPS), and data protection controls (DLP, encryption).




- Support OT/ICS security monitoring initiatives, boundary validation, and passive monitoring tools such as Zeek, Suricata, or Malcolm.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4-8 years of direct experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, IT infrastructure security, or security control remediation.
- Practical expertise with Microsoft security solutions, including Entra ID/Azure AD, Sentinel, Defender, Intune, PIM, LAPS, and Key Vault.
- Proven background in log ingestion validation, SIEM platform configurations, alert investigation, and incident response playbook execution.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability scanning, patch management SLAs, network segmentation, backup restoration testing, and audit evidence collection.
- Prior hands-on exposure to OT/ICS/SCADA environments or passive network inspection platforms (Zeek, Suricata, Malcolm) is highly preferred.
