Job Summary

The school is looking for a passionate and dedicated TGT Mathematics teacher to deliver high-quality instruction to students of classes VI–X, in line with the CBSE curriculum and NCERT guidelines, while fostering analytical thinking and a strong conceptual foundation in Mathematics.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons as per the CBSE syllabus and NCERT textbooks
- Design lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and activity-based learning modules
- Conduct periodic assessments, unit tests, and examinations; evaluate answer scripts fairly and promptly
- Maintain accurate academic records, mark sheets, and progress reports
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial teaching/support to slow learners
- Prepare and mentor students for Olympiads, NTSE, and other competitive exams (where applicable)
- Integrate ICT/smart-class tools and activity-based pedagogy in classroom teaching
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
- Attend and actively participate in PTMs, staff meetings, and school events
- Collaborate with fellow subject teachers for curriculum planning and interdisciplinary projects




- Ensure compliance with CBSE's Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE)/assessment guidelines
- Take up additional responsibilities such as class teachership, exam duties, or co-curricular activities as assigned

Qualifications & Eligibility

- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Mathematics (B.Sc./M.Sc.) with minimum 50% marks
- B.Ed. from a recognized university (mandatory)
- CTET/State-TET (Paper II) qualified preferred, as per CBSE/NCTE norms
- Prior experience teaching in a CBSE-affiliated school preferred

Experience

- 2–5 years of teaching experience (freshers with solid subject knowledge may also be considered, depending on school policy)

Skills Required

- Strong command over Mathematics concepts up to Class X level
- Excellent communication skills in English (and Hindi, where required)
- Ability to explain abstract concepts using real-life examples and visual aids
- Good classroom management and student engagement skills
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, smart boards, online assessment tools)
- Patience, adaptability, and a student-centric teaching approach

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
