Job Summary

1. Minimum 8 years of experience in hands-on administration troubleshooting on EMC Storage arrays.
2. Hands-on in managing and administrating EMC VMAX, VPLEX, PowerMax, and MetroNode systems.
3. Experience in SAN Switch, SanNAV.
4. Additional skills in Storage Management Tools, such as:
- Data Fabric Manager
- Protection Manager
- Report performance, efficiency, and capacity measurements

- Excellent skills in maintaining and producing documents.
- Excellent knowledge in Active Directory and good knowledge about file management.
- Must have very good knowledge on SAN performance troubleshooting, migration, and handling escalation.
- Strong background in migration and administration of SAN technologies.
- Ability to perform provisioning (Lun creation, managing, decommissioning).
- Experience in Remote and Local replications in EMC storage environment.
- Knowledge on performance analysis factors of Storage Arrays.
- In-depth knowledge of Unisphere and hands-on experience with VIPER SRM.
- Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Fabric Environment constituting Brocade/Cisco switches.
- Certification on EMC technology is an added advantage.
- Knowledge on Host/server will be an added advantage (Windows, UNIX).
- Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify the severity of the issue, resolve issues quickly to account/customer satisfaction, and prepare RCA.
- SAN/NAS space provisioning, allocation & reclaiming of storage space on various storage and maintenance.
- Vendor management for hardware failure and firmware upgrade activity on storage and FC switch.
- Performance monitoring of storage & SAN switches.
- Good understanding of Problem & Change Management Process and Procedures.
- Must be a service and customer-oriented team player. Flexible, self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure in an International and culturally diverse organization.
- Must possess the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks.
- Good motivational skills plus verbal and written communication skills, strong command of English language.
