Position: Quality Engineer
Experience: 1–4 Years

Job Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspection of machine components and assemblies.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, mechanical diagrams, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T;.
- Inspect components as per engineering drawings and specifications.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.
- Identify quality issues and coordinate with Production, Design, and Assembly teams.
- Prepare inspection reports, quality checklists, and NCR reports.
- Conduct root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor rejection, rework, and quality-related issues.
- Ensure machine components and assemblies meet required quality standards.
- Maintain quality documentation and inspection records.




- Support continuous improvement and reduction of rejection/rework.

Required Skills

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in manufacturing/mechanical quality.
- Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and mechanical diagrams.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, dimensions, tolerances, and inspection methods.
- Good knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of 7 QC Tools and Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience in SPM, automation, machining, fabrication, or automotive industries will be preferred.
- Valuable problem-solving and communication skills.
