About Us We are a growing Quick-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company looking for a reliable and experienced Senior Accountant. We believe in keeping things simple and need a dedicated professional to handle our daily accounting operations.
Role Overview You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and handling standard tax filings. The ideal candidate has a strong grip on basic accounting principles and FMCG billing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting entries (Sales, Purchase, Receipts, and Payments) in Tally/ERP.
- Handle bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Calculate and file monthly GST and TDS returns accurately.
- Maintain and track inventory records (FMCG stock management).
- Follow up on accounts receivable from distributors and manage accounts payable to vendors.
- Maintain organized physical and digital records of all financial documents.
Requirements
- Education: B.Com graduate.
- Experience: Minimum 5 to 10 years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Prior experience in the FMCG sector is highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Tally and Microsoft Excel.
- Clear understanding of basic accounting entries and tax deductions.
- Good communication skills and an honest, hardworking attitude.
