Sr. Process Manager - Water & Wastewater Treatment

Location: Chennai

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Sr. Process Manager to join our team in Chennai. This role focuses on the design, optimization, and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design of Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), and Water Treatment Plants (WTP).
- Oversee projects involving Greenfield, Brownfield, and Greyfield developments.
- Design large-scale treatment facilities, including at least one 20+ MLD plant.
- Lead plant optimization, troubleshooting, and commissioning efforts.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 8 years of experience in STP, ETP & WTP process design.
- Substantial experience in STP projects (at least 50% of total relevant experience).
- Proven experience with Greenfield, Brownfield, and Greyfield projects.
- Demonstrated ability to design large-scale plants, including at least one 20+ MLD facility.
- Experience in plant optimization,



troubleshooting, and commissioning.

Technical Expertise

- Robust proficiency in water & wastewater treatment process design (STP, ETP, WTP).
- Hands-on experience with advanced treatment technologies such as Membrane Bioreactor (MBR), Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR), Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR), Ultrafiltration (UF)/Reverse Osmosis (RO)/Ceramic Membranes, Electrocoagulation (EC), and Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF).
- Expertise in process & hydraulic calculations, mass balance, and plant sizing.
- Proficient in preparing Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID;), and process design reports.

Software & Tools

- Knowledge of BioWin, Bentley, WAVE, and IMS is considered a plus.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, or Process Engineering is preferred.
