Description:

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Professor of Forensic Medicine to join our esteemed medical college located in Hathras. The ideal candidate will bring strong academic leadership, medico-legal expertise, and a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and departmental development.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the Forensic Medicine department as per NMC academic and regulatory standards
- Deliver lectures, conduct practical sessions, and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Supervise medico-legal work including autopsies, injury reports, and court appearances
- Guide PG thesis and support research publication efforts
- Ensure departmental compliance with inspections, audits, and accreditation processes
- Organize academic activities such as CMEs, seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the teaching and training program for UG (MBBS) and PG (MD) students.
- Conduct and supervise medico-legal autopsies,



injury assessments, and provide expert court testimony when required.
- Guide and review postgraduate dissertations and mentor junior faculty.
- Ensure departmental readiness for NMC inspections, audits, and assessments.
- Publish in peer-reviewed journals and promote academic research.
- Organize seminars, CMEs, workshops, and interdisciplinary case reviews.
- Collaborate with hospital and legal authorities for medico-legal processes.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Qualification: MD in Forensic Medicine from an NMC-recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years teaching experience with at least 3 years as Associate Professor.
- Registration: Must hold a valid NMC or State Medical Council registration.
- Desirable: Minimum 4 original publications in indexed journals as per NMC
