We are looking to add Cognos Administrators to our growing team!
IBM Cognos Administrator must have strong experience in production support activities such as version upgrades, patch installations and migrations across environments besides other activities. This individual will perform as a contributing member of Cognos EBIT Support team to handle L3 application and platform support activities
Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using recent technologies
May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives
Serves as a fully seasonedproficient technical resource
Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations
May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application
Routine accountability for technical knowledge and capabilities
Must be able to work independently, while guiding and assisting other support team members as needed
Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to design, develop, test, debug, and maintain application programs
Requirements *
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience required
Cognos BI Administration experience
L3 Production Support and Weekend On-call Support experience
Solid understanding of Cognos Architecture
Strong analyticalproblem solving skills
SQL coding skills
Knowledge on Linux, SSO
Excellent communication skills
