We are a premium furniture manufacturing company looking for a hands-on, factory-based professional to work at the intersection of production coordination and quality control.
This role is ideal for someone at the start of their career who wants to deeply understand how furniture is actually built, inspected, and finished — not just designed on paper.
Key: This is a factory-based role in Bhiwandi and requires daily presence on the shop floor. This is not a studio, remote, or desk-only position.
Key Responsibilities
Production Coordination
- Be present on the factory floor to coordinate between design intent and manufacturing execution
- Work closely with carpenters, welders, polishers, and supervisors
- Clarify drawings, dimensions, and execution details during production
- Identify and resolve execution issues in real time
Quality Control (Core Responsibility)
- Inspect furniture at multiple stages of production:
- Structure / frame
- Joinery / welding
- Surface preparation
- Finishing
- Final assembly
- Ensure dimensions, finishes, stability, and detailing meet quality standards
- Flag deviations early and ensure corrections are implemented
- Conduct final quality inspection before dispatch
Design & Documentation Support
- Assist in translating designs into workable production details
- Update drawings or details based on manufacturing feedback
- Maintain basic QC checklists and inspection records
Who This Role Is For
- Background in furniture design / product design / industrial design / interior design preferred
- Comfortable working in a male-dominated factory environment:
- Willing to travel daily to Bhiwandi:
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Practical, grounded, and eager to learn manufacturing hands-on
