Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Hydraulic Fixture Designer with expertise in Creo to design high-accuracy, high-productivity workholding solutions for VMC, CNC turning, HMC, 5-axis machines, and SPMs. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of fixture design principles, hydraulic circuits, and manufacturing feasibility.

Key Responsibilities

- Study customer part drawings (casting/forging + machining drawings).
- Develop fixture concepts as per 3-2-1 principle and machining sequence.
- Design hydraulic & mechanical clamping systems with internal oil galleries.
- Select hydraulic components (cylinders, work supports, PRVs, sequence valves, etc.).
- Create 3D models & 2D manufacturing drawings in Creo with tolerances & surface finish details.




- Coordinate with manufacturing for feasibility, cost, and process improvements.
- Perform simulation & interference checks for tool clearance and chip evacuation.
- Follow ISO/IATF standards and use standard parts wherever possible.
- Support assembly & trials until fixture is approved at customer end.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years experience in fixture design, preferably hydraulic fixtures.
- Proficiency in Creo Parametric (mandatory).
- Knowledge of hydraulic circuit design & component selection.
- Good understanding of machining processes (VMC, HMC, CNC turning, 5-axis).
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes like machining, EDM, laser cutting, etc.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
