Role Description The Field Sales Specialist – Drone Spraying will be responsible for driving on-ground sales and adoption of drone spraying solutions in Pune City. This full-time, on-site role involves identifying and engaging prospective clients, especially farmers, agribusinesses, and agricultural cooperatives, explaining the value and benefits of drone spraying technology, and conducting product demonstrations in field conditions.

The specialist will manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead generation, needs assessment, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closing deals, while maintaining detailed records of interactions and sales activities.



Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with technical and operations teams for scheduling demonstrations and services, gathering customer feedback, supporting after-sales service, and contributing insights to improve products and sales strategies. The role also includes participation in local events, farmer training programs, and industry gatherings to build brand awareness and long-term relationships.

Qualifications

- Strong field sales and business development skills, including lead generation, client relationship management, and negotiation.
- Knowledge of agriculture practices, crop protection methods, and an interest in precision farming and drone-based spraying solutions.
- Ability to understand and explain technical concepts related to drones, spraying equipment, and associated software in simple terms.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to conduct in office demos and training sessions for diverse audiences.
- Comfort working in outdoor field environments, with readiness to travel within and around Pune City for customer visits and demonstrations.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with mobile apps, CRM tools, and digital documentation for tracking sales activities.
- Prior experience in field sales, agri-input sales, or technology solutions sales is highly beneficial.
- Diploma or degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, though relevant experience may substitute.
