Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Linux Application) with hands-on experience in Embedded Linux and ARM-based processors to join our team.

Experience

1–3 years

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Develop and maintain Linux applications for ARM-based embedded platforms.
n
- Develop software using C/C++ in Linux environments.
n
- Work with ARM-based processors and embedded platforms.
n
- Develop, integrate, and debug applications on Yocto-based Embedded Linux and/or Debian Linux.
n
- Develop and configure Linux services, daemons, and system applications.
n
- Debug application and system-level issues using tools such as GDB, strace, dmesg, journalctl, etc.
n
- Work with hardware interfaces such as UART, I2C, SPI, GPIO, USB, Ethernet, CAN, etc.
n
- Develop and troubleshoot Linux networking applications and TCP/IP communication.
n
- Perform application deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
n
- Collaborate with BSP, firmware, hardware, and QA teams for system integration.
n

n

Must-Have Skills

n

n
- 1–3 years of experience in Linux application development.
n
- Strong programming knowledge in C/C++.
n
- Hands-on experience with ARM-based processors — any ARM platform is acceptable.
n
- Experience with Embedded Linux.
n
- Experience with Yocto and/or Debian Linux.
n




- Good understanding of Linux processes, threads, IPC, sockets, filesystems, and system services.
n
- Good understanding of Linux networking and TCP/IP protocols.
n
- Experience with Git and Linux shell scripting.
n
- Basic understanding of cross-compilation and build systems such as Make/CMake.
n

Valuable to Have

n

n
- Experience with U-Boot, Device Tree, BSP, or Linux Kernel.
n
- Python scripting experience.
n
- Experience with systemd and Linux service development.
n
- Experience debugging hardware/software integration issues.
n
- Knowledge of Linux performance analysis and optimization.
n

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer (Linux Application) who enjoys working close to the Linux OS and embedded hardware, with strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable developing and troubleshooting applications on ARM-based embedded platforms using Yocto and/or Debian Linux.
