Role Overview

LCT is looking for a freelance SCORM Package Creator with Instructional Design (ID) skills to develop engaging, interactive, and SCORM-compliant e-learning courses. The ideal candidate should be proficient in an authoring tool, understand LMS requirements, and be comfortable working across technical and non-technical domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop SCORM-compliant courses using Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar authoring tools.

• Create /convert source content into engaging screens with appropriate interactions, animations, assessments, and knowledge checks.

• Integrate and synchronize voice-over, audio, video, graphics, and other multimedia elements.

• Publish, test, and troubleshoot SCORM packages for LMS compatibility, including navigation, completion, scoring, and tracking.

• Apply Instructional Design principles to improve learner engagement, clarity, and retention.

• Review courses for content accuracy, grammar, consistency, functionality, and overall quality.

• Coordinate with Instructional Designers, SMEs, project managers, and other team members and incorporate feedback.

• Use AI tools where appropriate to support content development, course creation, and quality checks.

• Availability of approximately 3–4 hours during daytime on each working day.

• Availability on all weekdays; this is not a weekend-only role.





• Ability to communicate and coordinate with the team as required.

• Team management or coordination experience is an added advantage.

Qualifications & Experience

• Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in e-learning development, SCORM packaging, or Instructional Design preferred.

• Certification in Instructional Design, E-learning, or an authoring tool is an advantage.

• Candidates with a different educational background may be considered if they have strong relevant experience and a good portfolio.

Desired Skills

• Robust understanding of Instructional Design principles, content analysis, and storyboarding.

• Strong analytical, logical, visualization, and content-mapping skills.

• Proficiency in at least one e-learning authoring tool and practical knowledge of SCORM 1.2 and/or SCORM 2004.

• Understanding of LMS upload, testing, completion, tracking, and reporting.

• Proficiency in English and MS Office, with strong attention to detail.
