Ferguson is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design, build, and support modern, scalable applications across backend services and frontend user interfaces. This role will contribute to Fergusons ongoing modernization journey while also delivering responsive React based user experiences. You will participate in all aspects of the Software Development lifecycle by supporting existing software development efforts and troubleshooting issues as they occur while also developing new software code across multiple small to medium projects concurrently. Were looking for a team member with a passion to learn new technologies and the ability to produce in a technology-driven environment.
Responsibilities will include a deep knowledge and understanding of the Middleware tier; developing REST/SOAP APIs and services; implementing changes to the database and service model; creating new modules; developing integrations with 3rd-party platforms; and managing the triage of software incidents. As well as JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5,
CSS3 and frontend performance and component design best practices.
Must be skilled in the technologies listed below and possess excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be a back-end developer (Java/AKS/Spring/MongoDB) with SysAdmin/DevOps experience in AKS and thrive in a fast-paced enterprise environment where each team-member is vital to the overall success of the Ferguson product line.
The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who possesses solid leadership skills and who can be a primary resource for Fergusons development and engineering teams. You must be capable of working independently, collaboratively within the team as well as collaboratively with other teams.
