Role Description The Sales Associate role at India Fashion World is a full-time hybrid position based in Gurugram, with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks as assigned. On a day-to-day basis, the Sales Associate greets and assists customers, provides product information, and supports styling and purchase decisions to ensure a positive shopping experience. The role includes managing point-of-sale transactions, handling returns and exchanges in line with company policies, and maintaining accurate records of sales.

The Sales

Associate helps with merchandising, stock replenishment, visual displays, and basic inventory checks to keep the store organized and appealing. The role may also involve responding to customer inquiries through phone or digital channels,



supporting promotional activities, and collaborating with team members to meet sales targets and service standards.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and a professional, respectful approach to diverse customers.

- Sales and retail skills, such as understanding product features, assisting with upselling and cross-selling, and working toward individual and team sales goals.

- Basic operational skills, including handling point-of-sale systems, managing cash and digital payments accurately, and following store procedures.

- Organizational and merchandising skills, such as maintaining store cleanliness, arranging displays, and supporting inventory checks.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, with reliability in both on-site and remote tasks, and willingness to work flexible schedule, including weekends or holidays as needed.

- Previous experience in fashion, retail, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not strictly required; openness to training and learning is essential.

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in retail, fashion, or business is an advantage.

- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with a diverse team to deliver a high standard of service.
