About the Role

n

We are looking for a skilled Senior Security Engineer – Azure to join our team and take ownership of cloud security, infrastructure protection, threat monitoring, and security operations across Microsoft Azure environments.

n

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Azure security services, cloud security controls, IAM, SIEM, vulnerability management, and incident response, along with a valuable understanding of enterprise security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls across Microsoft Azure environments.
n
- Monitor and secure Azure infrastructure, applications, networks, and cloud workloads.
n
- Manage and implement Azure security services, including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Key Vault, Azure Firewall, NSGs, and related security solutions.
n
- Implement and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access, and privileged access controls.
n
- Monitor security events, investigate alerts, and respond to security incidents.
n
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation of security vulnerabilities.
n
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, procedures, and technical documentation.
n




- Perform security assessments of cloud infrastructure and identify potential risks and misconfigurations.
n
- Work closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, Network, and Application teams to implement DevSecOps and secure cloud deployments.
n
- Support security audits, compliance requirements, and risk assessments.
n
- Participate in threat hunting, log analysis, and root-cause analysis of security incidents.
n
- Automate security monitoring and operational tasks using scripting or relevant tools where required.
n
- Stay updated with emerging cloud security threats, vulnerabilities, and Azure security best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

n

n
- Minimum 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or security engineering.
n
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure security.
n
- Good knowledge of:
n
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud
n
- Microsoft Sentinel / SIEM
n
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
n
- Azure RBAC and IAM
n
- Azure Firewall and Network Security Groups
n
- Azure Key Vault
n
- Security monitoring and logging
n
- Experience in incident response, threat detection, vulnerability management, and security assessment.
n
- Strong understanding of cloud networking and security concepts.
n
- Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and Zero Trust.
n
- Familiarity with scripting/automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar tools is an advantage.
n
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
