- Plan, drive, and monitor the placement of trainees across various trades/sectors into suitable industry roles.
- Ensure full compliance with Punjab Skill Development Mission (PSDM) guidelines and scheme-specific placement norms (e.g., minimum wage criteria, placement percentage targets, documentation, and reporting timelines).
- Build, maintain, and expand relationships with employers across industrial setups, manufacturing units, and the service sector to create a steady pipeline of job opportunities.
- Organize and coordinate placement drives, job fairs, and campus interviews in collaboration with training centres and industry partners.
- Liaise with training delivery teams to align trainee skill sets with market/industry demand.
- Track and report placement data accurately — placement percentage, retention, salary compliance, and scheme-wise MIS as required by PSDM/funding bodies.
- Counsel and prepare candidates for interviews, resume building, and workplace readiness.
- Conduct post-placement follow-ups to track retention and resolve employer/candidate issues.
- Maintain and grow an updated database of employer contacts, vacancies, and placement records.
- Represent the institute at industry events,



employer meets, and government review meetings related to placement performance.

Education:

- Minimum: Graduate (any discipline).
- Desirable: MBA (HR/Marketing or related specialization).
- Experience:
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in placing trainees from skill development institutions into companies.
- Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of Punjab Skill Development Mission (PSDM) guidelines, particularly around placement norms under various government schemes.
- Well-established relationships with industrial and service-sector employers.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills.
- Good communication, coordination, and negotiation ability.
- Comfortable with placement MIS/reporting and basic documentation.
- Personal Attributes:
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and target-driven.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and build networks from the ground up.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
