Role Description The Lead QA will oversee quality assurance activities for web and mobile applications, with a primary focus on automated testing using WebDriver and Appium. This full-time remote role includes designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks, writing and executing test scripts, and analyzing test results to identify defects and performance issues. The Lead QA will collaborate closely with development, product, and operations teams to refine requirements, ensure test coverage, and support release planning.

Additional responsibilities include mentoring QA team members, defining best practices, maintaining documentation, and driving continuous improvement in QA processes and tools.

Qualifications





- Quality Assurance and Quality Control skills to design, execute, and refine test plans and test cases.
- Quality Management experience to establish standards, metrics, and processes that support reliable software releases.
- Quality Auditing and Positive Manufacturing Practice (GMP) knowledge to perform systematic reviews and ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements where applicable.
- Strong hands-on experience with WebDriver and Appium for automated functional and regression testing of web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages commonly used in test automation (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript) and familiarity with CI/CD tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead QA initiatives, mentor team members, and collaborate effectively in cross-functional, remote teams.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with a focus on clear defect reporting and root-cause analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in software quality assurance.
