Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee inventory operations, stock accuracy, storage, and movement across retail outlets/warehouse locations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimum stock levels, minimizing inventory losses, and ensuring smooth product availability.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor day-to-day inventory operations across stores/warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, transfers, sales, returns, and adjustments.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimum inventory availability.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Investigate and control stock shortages, damages, excess stock, and inventory variances.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, Warehouse, and Store teams for smooth inventory movement.
- Ensure proper GRN, stock transfer, return, and inward/outward documentation.
- Ensure proper stock rotation using FIFO/FEFO, wherever applicable.
- Track inventory accuracy through regular stock audits and reconciliation.
- Develop and maintain inventory reports and dashboards for management review.
- Monitor shrinkage and inventory losses and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure proper storage, product identification, tagging, and organization of stock.




- Ensure compliance with company inventory policies and standard operating procedures.
- Train and guide inventory/store personnel on proper stock-handling procedures.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of retail inventory management.
- Good understanding of stock reconciliation and warehouse operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and inventory/ERP software/SAP.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage and lead inventory/store teams.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional certification in Inventory Management / Supply Chain is an advantage.

Experience

8–15 years of relevant experience in retail inventory, warehouse, or stock management.

Experience in FMCG / Retail / Distribution will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate

- Strong experience in handling high-volume SKU inventory.
- Experience with contemporary retail outlets will be preferred.
- Immediate joiners may be preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
