Job Purpose

Develop, reformulate, and reverse-engineer cosmetic and personal care products based on client specifications. Responsible for bench-scale lab trials, stability testing, and seamless technology transfer to commercial production.

Key Responsibilities

- Formulation & Bench Sampling: Formulate skincare, haircare, personal hygiene, and body care products (creams, lotions, serums, shampoos, gels) matching client briefs and benchmark samples.
- Stability & Compatibility Testing: Conduct physical, chemical, and accelerated stability studies (pH, viscosity, emulsion stability, temperature stress) and packaging compatibility trials.
- Technology Transfer & Scale-Up: Transfer lab-scale formulations to full-scale production floor; oversee pilot batches and troubleshoot manufacturing trial issues.
- Documentation & Compliance: Prepare Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Lab Trial Reports, COAs, MSDS, and Product Specifications in compliance with CDSCO/FDA, ISO, and GMP guidelines.
- Client Interaction & Tech Support:



Coordinate with sales/client relations teams to present lab samples, incorporate client feedback, and meet turnaround times (TAT) for custom sampling.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: M.Sc / B.Sc in Chemistry, or B.Pharm / M.Pharm.
- Experience: 1.5–2.5 years of R&D; formulation experience in cosmetics/personal care (Third-party / Contract manufacturing background preferred).
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with emulsification, surfactant systems, preservatives, and active ingredient performance; proficiency in lab equipment.
- Core Competencies: Quick sampling turnaround, problem-solving, regulatory awareness, and robust communication skills for client-facing technical discussions.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
