Infygain Technologies is looking for a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support for computer systems, hardware, software, networks, and IT-related issues. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting problems, maintaining IT infrastructure, and providing on-site and remote technical support to customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and software applications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, and routers.
- Install and configure computer systems, applications, drivers, and peripherals.
- Perform preventive maintenance and regular system health checks.
- Configure printers and troubleshoot printing-related issues.
- Provide on-site technical support at customer locations when required.
- Handle user queries and resolve technical issues within the required timeframe.
- Maintain records of service requests, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal technical teams for complex issues.
- Assist with system upgrades, hardware replacements, and IT equipment installations.
- Maintain IT asset and inventory records.
- Follow company IT support procedures and security guidelines.
- Prepare service reports and provide regular updates to the reporting manager.

Requirements




- Minimum 1 year of experience in desktop support, IT support, or technical support.
- Good knowledge of Windows OS, hardware, software, and computer peripherals.
- Basic knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, routers, and switches.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and printers.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations for on-site support.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, CCNA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
