Senior Procurement Manager – ChemicalsJob Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to manage the sourcing and procurement of chemical raw materials. The candidate will be responsible for vendor development, price negotiation, procurement planning, and ensuring timely availability of quality materials.

Key Chemicals

· Ferrous Sulphate

· Zinc Sulphate

· Potassium Nitrate

· MAP (Mono Ammonium Phosphate)

· Sodium Nitrate

Key Responsibilities

· Manage end-to-end procurement of chemical raw materials.

· Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable chemical suppliers.

· Negotiate prices, payment terms, MOQ, lead times, and delivery schedules.

· Monitor chemical market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.

· Develop alternate suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply.

· Coordinate with Quality, Production, Finance, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.

· Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, quality issues, and supplier performance.

· Maintain vendor records, purchase data, and procurement reports.

· Ensure timely availability of materials as per production requirements.

Candidate Profile

· Experience: 5–7 years in Procurement/Purchase, preferably in Chemical,



Fertilizer, Agrochemical, or Manufacturing industry.

· Hands-on experience in sourcing chemical raw materials.

· Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.

· Valuable knowledge of chemical markets and supplier networks.

· Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Education

Graduate in any relevant field. MBA/PGDM in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Operations will be an advantage.
