- Identify, approach, and onboard new clients within the assigned territory to expand the company's scrap collection and recycled materials network.
- Conduct regular field visits to prospective and existing vendor/client sites to assess material availability, quality, and volume potential.
- Build and maintain robust working relationships with industrial scrap generators and channel partners to ensure consistent business pipeline.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts with clients in line with company margin and pricing guidelines.
- Coordinate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth material pickup, quality checks, and timely closure of deals.
- Maintain and update a structured database of prospects, leads,
and deal status through the CRM/tracking systems in use.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly business development targets as defined by the reporting manager.
- Resolve client and vendor queries, pricing disputes, or service issues promptly to maintain long-term partnerships.
- Prepare periodic reports on market intelligence, competitor activity, and territory performance for management review.
- Represent the company professionally at vendor/client meetings, industry events, and site visits, upholding company standards and compliance requirements
