nTheir digital therapy platform, consisting of KIMIA Assess and KIMIA Move products, uses artificial intelligence technology for digital MSK assessment and therapy. This platform is capable of providing pre-consultation assessments and real-time exercise guidance and feedback to musculoskeletal patients and is being adopted by some of the largest private healthcare providers in the region, along with large corporate players.

nAbout the Role:

nAre you a hands-on Backend Developer who enjoys solving complex technical problems.

nWe are looking for a Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, databases, and AWS.





nThe ideal candidate will be actively involved in software development while driving engineering best practices and maintaining the code quality.

nYou will work closely with Tech Lead, Architects, QA and DevOps and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, reliable, secure and maintainable backend solutions.

nWhat We're Looking For:

nWe're seeking professionals with 3–6 years of software development experience, strong backend engineering expertise and experience.

nRequired Technical Skills:

nStrong hands-on experience with Java and object-oriented programming.

nStrong experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.

nHands-on experience designing and developing REST APIs and backend services.

nStrong practical experience with Microservices architecture.

nGood understanding of microservices concepts including service decomposition, inter-service communication, scalability, resiliency and fault tolerance.

nStrong knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle or similar.

nWorking experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis or similar.

nStrong working knowledge of AWS cloud services.

nGood understanding of system design and scalable backend architectures.

nStrong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, clean code and coding standards.

nExperience with unit testing,



integration testing, debugging and code reviews.

nGood understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.

nExperience working with Git and modern software development practices.

nAbility to troubleshoot complex technical and production issues and identify root causes.

nKey Responsibilities As a Backend Developer, you will:

nWorking with development of scalable Java and Spring Boot backend applications.

nDevelop, maintain microservices and REST APIs.

nParticipate actively in coding, debugging, technical discussions and code reviews.

nEnsure adherence to coding standards, design principles, testing practices and engineering best practices.

nReview code and provide constructive technical feedback to team members.

nTroubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause analysis and permanent fixes.

nContribute to improving development processes, automation, quality and engineering productivity.
