Job Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and other bakery products.
Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines.
Prepare and measure ingredients accurately as per production requirements.
Support the Chef in daily bakery and pastry production.
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards at all times.
Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials and finished products.
Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely.
Assist with mise en place and daily production planning.
Monitor the quality, freshness, and presentation of products.
Minimize wastage and maintain proper inventory of bakery ingredients.
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in a bakery/pastry kitchen preferred.
Knowledge of basic bakery and pastry techniques.
Positive understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Relevant culinary/bakery qualification will be an added advantage.
