We are seeking a versatile and motivated Battery Development Engineer to work with the
Cancrie team on support integration of advanced materials in Lead-Acid batteries at manufacturer sites. This role blends cutting-edge lab research with practical industry trials.
Lead-Acid Battery Material Integration
Conduct in office trials at battery manufacturers’ facilities for integration of Cancrie’s advanced carbon material into lead-acid batteries.
Assist with testing protocols such as drop tests, color change of oxide paste, charge acceptance, flexural/microscopic analysis.
Provide technical support to validate material performance in real-world production environments.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Electrical/Mechanical
Engineering, or related field
Knowledge of BMS, EV duty cycles, and thermal/mechanical pack design.
Exposure to Lead-Acid battery testing or materials integration is a solid plus.
Familiarity with lab/field test equipment (battery cyclers, impedance testers, UTM,
thermal chambers).
Robust problem-solving skills, ability to work across lab and industrial settings, and readiness for travel to manufacturer sites.
