Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
Practical experience in metal fabrication and manufacturing.
Solid knowledge of MIG/TIG/arc welding, cutting, bending, drilling, grinding, and assembly.
Ability to read and understand 2D engineering/fabrication drawings.
Knowledge of MS and SS materials, gauges, sections, pipes, sheets, and fabrication hardware.
Good understanding of measurement tools such as vernier caliper, micrometer, measuring tape, angle gauge, and other inspection tools.
Knowledge of fabrication quality standards and inspection procedures.
Good manpower and shop-floor management skills.
Solid problem-solving and production-planning abilities.
Positive knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.
