The SAP S/4HANA Basis Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, maintenance, performance optimization, security compliance, and lifecycle management of SAP landscapes across Development, Quality Assurance, Pre-Production, and Production environments.
The role ensures high availability, system stability, disaster recovery readiness, and compliance with organizational, regulatory, and audit requirements.

SAP Basis & HANA Administration
/n
/n
- Provide technical support for SAP Basis and SAP HANA environments by independently resolving incidents, service requests, and change tickets.
/n
- Install, configure, monitor, and maintain SAP S/4HANA systems and landscapes.
/n
- Perform SAP system refreshes, client copies, kernel upgrades, and patch implementations.
/n
- Manage SAP Transport Management System (TMS) activities across development, quality, and production environments.
/n
- Monitor SAP system health, availability, and performance.
/n
- Ability to support mission critical support 24*7 for PROD environment
/n
/n
Incident & Problem Management
/n
/n
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring and escalated SAP issues.
/n
- Troubleshoot SAP application, database, operating system, and interface-related problems.
/n
- Ensure timely ticket resolution within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
/n
- Minimize resolution rejections and case reopenings through effective issue management.
/n
/n
Performance & System Optimization
/n
/n
- Analyze system performance and implement optimization measures.
/n
- Monitor SAP HANA database performance and perform tuning activities.
/n
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
/n
- Ensure optimal utilization of system resources.
/n
/n
Knowledge Management & Team Support
/n
/n
- Create, update, and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
/n
- Deliver training sessions and technical guidance for new team members.
/n
- Mentor junior analysts and support team capability development.
/n
- Share best practices and lessons learned across the support organization.
/n
/n
